Another state, another resounding win for the Donald. Nevada is only worth 30 delegates, but Trump secured almost half of them at 14 (see the 2/21 update for my spot on prediction of this). While most pundits (read: idiots) figured that Rubio and Cruz would do well with the Hispanic/Latino population, Trump ended up winning almost as much of that demo vote as Cruz and Rubio. Combined. Just let that sink in for a moment. Additionally, after the 2/25 GOP debate (again the audience was stacked with the donor class), I feel like Donald "The Ceiling" Trump is going to surge even higher in the polls. Hopefully this translates into a higher share of the 13 states that are voting on Tuesday, March 1st. The biggest prize of all is Cruz' home state of Texas with 155 delegates. If Trump can take at least half of the 661 delegates up for grabs, it's over. Done. All hail Trump.
After kicking serious ass in the South Carolina Primary, Trump earned himself all 50 delegates (SC is a winner-take-all state). Additionally, good ole ¡Yeb! dropped out of the race and fled back to Florida with his sea turtles and short, fat, Consuela-looking maid. I mean wife. The Nevada Caucus is on Tuesday, Feb 23. We'll be updating this page after Trump secures about half of the 30 available delegates. Nevada is the last state before Super Tuesday on March 1.
