Background: As mentioned in the Christmas show, I received a 20+ lbs ham from my in-laws. I'm guessing I have approximately 7 days to eat it all before it goes bad. My quest is to slay this beast while blogging my efforts. If I die, know it was not in vain.
It was delicious. Not sure the brand or the shelf-life, as the only marking on the vacuum sealed wrapper was the name of the supplier that gave it to the father-in-law. Considering there may not be any Turkey come Christmas, ham is a good substitute. Although I didn't eat enough to stay on pace, I'm feeling encouraged I can make it up tomorrow.
Morning, Day 2: 12/20/2016. My workout this morning was accompanied by some of the nastiest smelling farts that have ever come out of me. Not sure if this is related to the ham, all of the Christmas Ale I drank while recording last night, the rare steak I had for lunch, or some combination of all. If it is entirely ham related, I am not looking forward to the coming days. For lunch I packed... ham.
